  • Nursing

There are several entry points to a career in the nursing field. What’s best for you depends on your interests and education. You can enter the field by earning a basic Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA 1) certification. This would qualify you for an entry-level positon that provides valuable hands-on experience working with staff and patients in a medical environment. With this experience, you progress through training to become a Registered Nurse. If you already have a CNA certification or experience in a nursing or long-term care you may want to pursue certification that will move you to a higher salaried position.
